Audrey Guimard
Artist-sculptor and scenographer, a great admirer of nature and a fervent advocate of a new awareness in the way we create and experience art, I apprehend space in all its dimensions, from the monumental to the object.
Working with stone enables me to create committed collective projects, highlighting a natural material with incredible potential and ancestral know-how. I’m keen to develop partnerships with artisans and stakeholders in the countries and regions where I work, in order to create new aesthetics combining art, craft, design, artistic installations, architecture and land art.
The ecological dimension is fundamental to my projects, a commitment that I strive to respect to the utmost, notably by working with quarry waste rock and material collected in nature, enabling me to explore new poetic ways of writing with matter.
