Max Cobalto, as an artist, is the conceptual project of a well-known Spanish artist. It is the creation of a pictorial alter ego with his own voice, style, and distinct identity.

The project will last ten years before the artist’s identity is made public. His work also explores the psychological and artistic consequences of this decade-long double creative practice.

The artist seeks to achieve an individualized language, born from a confrontation with painting from a perspective radically different from his usual practice. Only color—and this is a secret clue—might bring us closer to his previous knowledge and artistic production.
